Raleigh, NC, September 19, 2012 - EyeWeb today announced plans to exhibit at the 100th Anniversary of the National Safety Council Expo. This year's expo will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from October 22 - 24, 2012. EyeWeb will be exhibiting the very latest in Prescription Safety Eyewear technology.

"EyeWeb is pleased to have the opportunity to meet with many of the industry's leaders and clients and users of our products" said EyeWeb Director of Sales Michael Wilson. According to OSHA thousands of people are blinded each year from work-related eye injuries that could have been prevented with the proper selection and use of eye and face protection. Eye injuries alone cost more than $300 million per year in lost production time, medical expenses, and worker compensation.

OSHA requires employers to ensure the safety of all employees in the work environment. Eye and face protection must be provided whenever necessary to protect against chemical, environmental, radiological or mechanical irritants and hazards.

With EyeWeb, the program is automatically managed in the system making it a breeze for companies to manage.

From October 20-25, the Congress portion of the event will take place, featuring seminars, speakers, workshops, and book signings. The Expo will hold more than 850 exhibitors and draw more than 12,000 attendees, making the combined events the leading safety, health and environmental industries' networking experience. A few of the highlights of the Expo will include a new products showcase, a Safety Trail, which leads visitors through corridors of safety milestones throughout the last century, and the Safety Theater, which seats 50 people at a time and will play snippets of film used for safety advocacy over the last 100 years.
