CyberImaging Accelerates Patient Flow with CyberEYES 9.0
RALEIGH, N.C. (February 1, 2006) – CyberEYES 9.0, an innovative facial measurement and imaging solution for eyecare professionals, is currently shipping with new and innovative functionality that makes imaging technology a reality for optical retailers.
Raleigh, NC-based CyberImaging, Inc. introduced CyberEYES 9.0 to fill the void left by the demise of Eyeweb, the industry pioneer that ceased operations last September and halted further development of the Eyeweb software. CyberEYES 9.0 not only has all of the functionality found in Eyeweb 8.0., but includes new features as well -- email capabilities, imaging enhancements, networking, contact lens simulation and pantoscopic angle.
"It's also more user friendly and faster to use," says CyberImaging CEO Hal Wilson. "Previous generations of optical imaging were time consuming and slowed patient flow," continued Wilson. "CyberEYES makes it very easy to capture the patients image and calculate precise, accurate measurements in the time it would take using a PD ruler and pupilometer." "Eyecare professionals can now spend their time educating and demonstrating quality premium products utilizing the patients own image while increasing revenue for the practice."
CyberEYES 9.0 will debut at SECO in Atlanta, Feb. 22-26, and at the International Vision Expo East in New York City, March 31-April 2.
