WITH CyberEYES 9.0from CyberImaging,Inc., you can now use just one device to take patient measurements such as pupillary distance (PD) and pantoscopic tilt and also let your patients see how they will look in a variety of frames or different contact lens colors.
Desktop Dispensing CyberEYES 9.0 is an electronic dispensing package complete with the CyberEYES 9.0 software anda Dispensing Table Imager that looks like a mirror but houses a digital camera. Simply use the computer and a 17-in. flat panel monitor on a swivel pole to capture the patient’s image.
After your patient has chosen a few frames, capture images of the top two or three on the patient and let him view the results. This allows your patients to pick their favorite frames while letting you keep another style or two in your database for follow up sales.
Lens Treatments Made Real
With a simple mouse click, a variety of lens options appear onscreen with the patient wearing the selected frame. Side-by-side comparisons of lens features such as anti-reflective treatments next to non-anti-reflective lenses will practically make up your patient's mind.
Would the patient benefit from high index? Show her how differently she appears using the comparison feature. Other onscreen lens demos include photochromic lenses that actually darken onscreen, polarized lenses with visual comparisons of how a landscape looks with and without polarized lenses, and numerous solid and gradient tints.
CyberEyes Real Focus
CyberEyes software also lets the dispenser take accurate measurements without poking a PD stick in the patient’s face. Using the mouse, the dispenser slides a green target over the patient's pupils in the picture, capturing the PD. Movable box sides let you “box” the lens just inside the frame eyewire letting digital sonar quickly calculate seg height. Manufacturer's fitting rules for multifocals and progressive lenses are also built into the system.
Shop-at-Home Convenience
One of the best features of CyberEyes 9.0 is the ability to save images of all of your patients’ favorite frames. These can be e-mailed in the future for second pair sales. Having a sunglass sale? Virtually tint the lenses in their second favorite frame and e-mail them. Entice your contact lens patients with colored contact lens images just before their birthday. The possibilities are endless. For more shop-at-home convenience, CyberImaging, Inc. also offers a new online module that automatically uploads the patient’s image, measurement data, and profile to a branded practice Web site. The patient can virtually tr y on additional frame and lens treatment selections from home. CyberImaging will create and host the site for a monthly subscription fee. A link can be created to an existing practice Web site.
Measure Pantoscopic Angle
Many specialty lens designs and materials recommend a specific pantoscopic angle. CyberEyes can help you measure “panto” by taking side view images of your patient wearing the frame. After aligning movable lines matching the frame front and the temples, the software tells you the pantoscopic angle as well as the vertex distance.
Choosing Contact Colors
Forget having to place sample colored contact lenses on your patient. Capture an image of your patient and virtually apply a variety of colors on his eyes. The software even allows you to indicate if the patient is light-eyed or dark-eyed, for very realistic imaging.
Patient Summary Sheet Your patient’s personal data and optical information is captured right onto the patient summary sheet, and you didn't even take a measurement. CyberEyes did all the work for you.
CyberEyes creates a virtual image of your patients wearing eyewear and contacts that they're sure to love—because they already know how they’ll look.
